Sustainability and social commitment at Gharieni Group
We are committed to global sustainability goals and actively work to reduce our carbon footprint. We prioritize ecofriendly materials and processes that minimize environmental impact.
Our treatment beds are built to last 15-20+ years, reducing the need for replacements. By offering spare parts for the life of the bed, we extend their longevity and further reduce our environmental impact.
EcoVadis
We are committed to continuous improvement through assessments carried out by EcoVadis, a global sustainability rating platform.
Plant my tree
We support PLANT-MY-TREE®, carrying out reforestation projects for CO₂ compensation throughout Germany. The goal is environmental and climate protection.
Solar powered system
Large-scale solar photovoltaic systems installed at multiple locations provide renewable electricity for our vehicle fleet and production facilities.
Electric vehicles
We have been converting our company fleet to electric vehicles since 2020.
Charging stations
We offer free electric vehicle charging facilities for both employees and clients. Our headquarters in Moers and the Netherlands are already equipped with fast-charging stations, with additional locations planned for the future.
Production with 100% green electricity
Any electricity required for our production that cannot be generated in-house, is sourced from our local electricity supplier and is supplied exclusively from renewable energy sources.
Sustainable Logistics
We work with logistics providers which have established climate and sustainability initiatives aimed at reducing environmental impact.
Caritas
For over 15 years, we have worked together with with Caritas in Moers, Germany, which offer training and employment opportunities to people with intellectual and physical disabilities. We source packaging materials and electrical components from these charitable workshops.
